Another excellent MGB, this time one of the rare Limited Edition models – this is number 538 of 580 built, with a build date of 17^th October 1980 - it has covered only 80,000 miles from new.  Original equipment included alloy wheels, Pewter metallic paint, front spoiler and silver body decals.  This car, although mainly original, has had lots of restoration over recent years and is in very good order throughout.  There are a few minor blemishes to the paintwork, but good panel fit, structure, and a clean and tidy underside.  The interior is extremely good, including replacement carpets and door cards, and original headlining in good order.  The door cappings and dashboard are now walnut.  Replacement seats have been fitted from another LE that had travelled no miles.  The alloy wheels were properly refurbished at some stage.  The car runs and drives as it should, with plenty of power from the engine, smooth gearbox, back axle and clutch.  Overdrive on third and fourth works well, and electronic ignition has been fitted.  Paperwork file includes old MOT certificates, some invoices, a certificate from the MGB Jubilee and LE Owners’ Club, and current MOT to 5^th July 2026.
