With its twin tanks, overriders, period alloys, 130 mph speedo, and 1275 twin carb engine, this Mini certainly fits the bill if you are looking for a Cooper S.

The added bonus is that this particular example is a rare Morris variant and finished in black with black trim - a combination that we think was a special order at the time.

Paperwork is awaited, so as we can undertake our standard due process - but on the face of it, this Mini appears to be a genuine Cooper S and as such is very sought after and collectable.

The exterior paintwork is clean and tidy, and the normal Mini ‘grot spots’ appear sound. The shell would appear to be a correct Mk2 bodyshell and appears in good shape with what we think are the original sills and floors.

The interior is basic and all the better for it. The front and rear seats appear in great condition, although the lining of the Webasto roof has dropped unfortunately, but this should be a quick fix.

The Mini starts, runs and drives, and as such can be used as is.
